Our core business advisory services are: sharing market intelligence around acquisition and market entrance opportunities, identifying off-market opportunities to buy businesses, teams, or platforms, offering introductions and access to capital-raising opportunities, and providing a sounding board and advisory support around specific deals.
We put contacts, intelligence, relationships, knowledge, and opportunities to work on behalf of our clients. It is a natural extension of Sousou Partners’ ethos of acting as ambassadors on behalf of our clients. These services are increasingly in demand from clients and are now structured as a standalone business stream of services offered by Sousou Partners.
Market Entry Strategy
Sousou Partners has twenty years of experience working with clients who have either entered or created new markets. We have been at the forefront of building the real asset investment capability of Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds. We continue to help ambitious family offices migrate and expand operations from other regions to London and we played a key role in helping American-based private equity firms build out European real asset platforms and talent pools.
We understand the dynamics involved in moving into new markets and work with clients to help shape strategy, smooth transitions, and of course, identify the new hires and top talent needed to capitalize on their objectives.
Through our contacts, network, and relationships we are often in a position to put potential buyers and sellers together and facilitate introductions between firms looking to acquire funds, teams or platforms, and businesses looking to restructure and refocus.
This match-making service is understandably sensitive and confidential and often operates at arms-length, wherein the initial instance Sousou Partners acts as an intermediary protecting the confidentiality of both parties until both decide to take the process further. The implicit trust involved throughout the process is predicated on both parties having deep relationships with Sousou Partners.
In a similar manner, we are often able to make introductions to individual investors, funds, operators, or institutions that may be looking to place liquidity.
The ability to identify and access different sources of capital often allows both parties to move at a speed that would not be possible using more traditional methods.
